Philosophy and Services

Philosophy

Verne believes in the concept of co-design—working with her clients to realize their ideal space. She uses the following techniques to accomplish this goal:

  • listening effectively to both wishes as well as requirements.

  • educating about cabinet quality, materials and finishes, different types of appliances, lighting selection and options for flooring, countertops and backsplash as well as about the recommended NKBA rules of kitchen planning.

  • applying design principles to create the desired "wow" effect of the finished product
